The first ever “SourceCon After Dark” happened at SourceCon NYC and was a huge hit! So… we’re doing it again in Silicon Valley.

The late night ‘hackathon,’ which will be hosted at Yahoo!’s Building C / URL’s Cafe, will take place in the late-night hours on Thursday evening, after the Networking Reception. After Dark is for those who want to participate in a “show-and-tell” sourcing session after everyone else has gone to bed. All participants will have the opportunity to flex their sourcing muscles and share their knowledge with anyone who wants to get in on some extra-curricular sourcing.

Additionally, the much-anticipated Grand Master Sourcing Challenge will take place during the After Dark. At 8:30pm on the dot, the two winners from our Challenges this year will compete with our Grand Master Champion from 2010, Katharine Robinson, for the 2011 Grand Master Sourcing Champion title.

And as the time draws near, we’ll be using the hashtag #SourceConAD to see who’s planning to be there. Stay tuned for further details on what we’ll be doing.
