Carl is a Partner at talentRISE, a boutique management consulting firm in Chicago that helps growing companies build integrated and effective “Top Talent” recruiting and retention capabilities internally, so they can best support the ever changing business performance goals. An early pioneer in online recruiting, Carl has spent the last 15+ years helping employers ranging from startups to global organizations transition from manual to automated, “high touch” recruiting practices by optimizing their people practices, processes, technologies, and strategies related to “top talent” acquisition, performance management, and retention. An advocate for workplace diversity and inclusion, Carl also works with employers seeking to improve their ability to hire diverse, multi-cultural and bi-lingual talent by helping them remove barriers and bias from the employers hiring practices and evaluating their government compliance audit risk.
In his off hours, Carl’s passion for helping employers and job seekers connect effectively extends to his volunteer work with the Staffing Management Association of Chicago as an active board member. Carl also serves as a Chicago Leadership Advisory Board member and past President for www.UpwardlyGlobal.org which helps immigrant professionals successfully navigate a US Job search in order to secure meaningful employment in their professions.
Carl is a graduate of Loyola University with a B.S. degree in Psychology and is currently writing a book due to be published in later this year to help job seekers conduct a more efficient and successful online job search by “Thinking Like a Recruiter.”
