Thanks for all the kind wishes left here. I can't wait to meet so many of the people I have heard so much about and learnt so much from on the web in real life in March.

I think these challenges are really important. They have introduced me to many new tools and forced me to try new things. Not to mention the considerable rise in profile!

Thanks for all your support. I can't wait to see you in San Diego! :-)

Katharine,

Congrats to you and it's always cool to see the methodology around solving these darn (fun) challenges. Great to see someone from across the pond bing a winner as well!

A bit of nostalgia is hitting here...but I like the contenders and it should be a fierce competition!!!!

All the best,
Suzy

Congratulations Katherine

A great victory for the UK based Sourceress!!

I am honoured (or honored) to have been part of the solution. Yes, David and I attended the same Uni, albeit a couple generations apart :-)

Good luck in San Diego!

Congrats and thanks for mentioning apprentices: We all owe a debt of gratitude to Bret Hollander, even if you've never met him, and ditto to Shally (who greatly supported the very first SourceCon as well as the current one). The two of them (along with Barbara Ling and I) were among the first to write sourcing tips e-newsletters in the late '90s. Those inspired a whole generation of sourcers, information which obviously has proliferated with the emergence of blogs/microblogs, social networks, how-to videos, etc.

Congratulations Katharine! You are clearly a force to be reckoned with. Thanks for the shout-out, but I wouldn't have called that a tantrum!
