Since SourceCon.QA launched in February of this year, sourcers and recruiters have provided 793 answers to 205 questions related to candidate identification and competitive intelligence gathering. Today, on SourceCon Live, panelists discussed the evolution of the site and gave recommendations on some best practices for participating in a question and answer forum like SourceCon.QA.

Here are a few recommendations to make sure your questions don’t get voted down:

1) Make sure your question wasn’t already asked.

2) Be as thorough as possible. Share what you’ve done so far and what results you have so the community knows where to start.

3) Questions should have right and wrong answers (they should not be opinion based).

4) Questions must be relevant to candidate identification / competitive intelligence gathering.
