Wordtracker Scout is a chrome addon that will show you the words used the most in a website, file, or download. How can this help you as you source candidates? It’s simple. After you find a good resume, Wordtracker can help you pinpoint the important words that appear in that resume. A savvy sourcer can then use those words to create better search strings.
How to use Wordtracker Scout

When I used my LinkedIn profile, this is what Wordtracker found:
Notice that in the summary section all of the keywords are grouped in a word cloud. The insights section displays the words that are most relevant. Below is what it says about my profile.
Using me as the example, you’ll notice that the keywords are what you would expect to see for a staffing professional. However, when searching for a technology professional you will normally find new words that can help you create more thorough search strings. Think of this as SEO for search strings.
