This article is part of a series called Free Tool Fridays.

This is the first in a series of posts on browser Chrome addons. The series will run on Fridays.

First up is Page Monitor. Page Monitor allows you to monitor any web page for changes of any kind. So, lets say you are viewing a resume or profile on line, the page says they are not currently looking, but you really like the profile/resume. You can push the monitor button and Page Monitor will monitor that page for changes. Obviously, if someone is updating their resume, they are probably considering a career change.

Below is a resume I found on the web. I pressed the page monitor button and you can see in the upper right side what choices I have.

Once I check for it to monitor I am done. It will let me know when any changes are made to the page. No more having to manually go back to check or remembering to check. By right clicking on the page monitor button you can change the settings to include checking intervals, alerts, etc.

Until next week!
