Welcome to the 2021 SourceCon Grandmaster Challenge!

Every year, SourceCon hosts the GrandMaster Challenge. It’s an opportunity for you and all the sourcing professionals in our community to flex your sourcing skills and show each other what you’ve got!

The Challenge is a series of questions and riddles that will test your sourcing abilities and make you think about the challenges of finding people online in new ways.

Here are the details:

The 60 minute first round opens at 9 AM CST Sunday, February 14, and close At 9 AM CST Tuesday, February 16.

10 finalists will move to the second round which will begin Saturday, February 20 at 9 AM Central standard time. The winner will be announced at SourceCon Digital on March 9. You do not have to sign up for the conference to participate.

Please read the following instructions carefully. Failure to follow these instructions can result in disqualification.

  • Participants will have 60 minutes to complete the challenge.
  • You must successfully answer question 1 to move to question 2 and so on.
  • The grandmaster challenge may only be taken one time.
  • It must be taken it alone.

No more than two people per company can be in the finals. If there are more than two competing, the first two to successfully complete the challenge the fastest will be allowed to move to the next round.

Winners will be chosen by the accuracy of answers and the amount of time up to 60 minutes it takes to complete the challenge. If you did not complete the challenge, don’t beat yourself up. You may still qualify if no one else completed it either. 🙂

In case of a tie, we will use the time stamp on the test to determine the finalists. (Ex: If you take the test at 9 am on Sunday you have a better chance than if  you wait until Monday)

Ready? Set. Go!
