The buzz has been swirling around social media sites for the last month, and the day is almost here. Prophet II is set to launch tomorrow, Saturday, December 15th, and sourcers are virtually lining up for the release. Prophet, launched four years ago, is a sister product of HiringSolved that reveals contact information for candidates sourced from popular websites. The widely used sourcing assistant has been downloaded by over 53,000 sourcers and recruiters.

Prophet hasn’t received much attention since it disabled LinkedIn to comply with LinkedIn’s User Agreement. Currently, Prophet sits as a sidebar on social accounts (primarily Twitter and Facebook) and reveals user’s Facebook, Google+, Blogs, additional websites, emails, phone numbers, and a partridge in a pear tree. Prophet then uses an advanced engine to predict the most likely email combination for a given person based on name, company and other social data. Then, Prophet verifies the generated email to make sure it is correct and deliverable. You can download Prophet in the Chrome store.

All of the goodness that we have come to love about Prophet will still be included with the new launch, but with Prophet II, they’ve added some special sauce. In addition to the sidebar, Prophet II will feature an advanced search interface with access to over 500 million profiles, for free! Yes, you read that right, for free!

The new search interface on Prophet II is exceptionally sleek. Recruiters and sourcers have the option to use auto-generated search suggestions to narrow their search, no boolean required. With Prophet, II, users can search by job title, location, companies, skills and even add exclusions to their search. Within seconds of launching your search, you will receive a list of candidates that match your search query that can be auto-populated into a list and exported into a CSV. Oh yes, you can even click a button to reveal a candidate’s email, contact information, and links to that candidate’s profile on social media sites. Prophet II is allowing its users to use up to 1,000 credits a day, for free.

Did I mention that this is free?

Prophet II is basically a combination of our favorite sourcing tools, but with no strings attached. Tis the season to be a sourcer!

What’s more exciting about this launch is the product roadmap that CEO Shon Burton and his team have in store for its users. On the 15th of each month, Prophet II will open its doors to more users and will also release more enhanced features. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

For its release tomorrow, Prophet II will open its interface to 100 lucky beta testers. More users will be added on the 15th of each month. If you haven’t already, stop everything that you’re doing and sign up to get access to Prophet II (click here).

Prophet II will also be featured at our upcoming SourceCon conference this March in Seattle. Burton and his team are working hard on some top secret product enhancements and giveaways for our Spring event. Stay tuned.
