In recent weeks, I’ve shared some data about the responsibilities that sourcers and recruiters currently have within their organizations. We’ve concluded, based on the 2015 SourceCon State of Sourcing Survey, that 93% of sourcers surveyed are responsible for identifying candidates and then determining their interest level after conducting an initial phone screen.
We also collected salary data in the survey. The results confirmed that not only do sourcers do a lot of what was previously considered a recruiter task, they are being compensated at a similar level.
Do these numbers surprise you?
