Every year, SourceCon hosts the Grandmaster Challenge. It's an online scavenger hunt designed to test your search skills and an opportunity for the entire sourcing community to show each other what we can do.
The SourceCon Grandmaster Hall of Fame showcases our past winners. They have all found creative ways to solve the Grandmaster Challenge puzzles, and many have shared with our community exactly how they did it!
Kristin Hughes

Kristin Hughes is a Director of Recruiting and Senior Technical Recruiter at Odyssey Information Services, where she focuses on recruitment marketing, processes, tools, and metrics. She is an expert in full-stack technical recruiting with nearly 15 years of industry experience and is the 2021 SourceCon Grandmaster Champion. Her key to success has been her ability to combine old-school networking with the latest tools and tech recruiting trends to find the best IT talent both locally and internationally.
Casey Casella
SourceCon Grandmaster 2020
Casey Casella is the founder / lead recruiting consultant at C2SearchGroup. He got his start in executive search ten years ago at a top 5 MRI franchise, and he brings that process to tech, digital marketing and analytics roles for clients that range from seed-stage startups to publicly traded companies. C2SG focuses on direct recruitment of passive candidates and they work primarily on remote-only positions.
Iker Jusue

Iker Jusue is the sole owner of the boutique consultancy Royan Recruitment. He has more than 7 years of experience in the field, leading teams and bringing sourcing solutions to different stakeholders in an international environment (mainly across EMEA & NAM).
He has worked in RPO, in-house and agency roles, across different industries but more recently focused in filling Tech vacancies.
Some of his consulting projects and training clients include start-ups and larger companies like ThoughtWorks, Oracle, Inditex, and BIC.
In 2019, he obtained the title of SourceCon Grandmaster, becoming the first non-native English speaker since this global sourcing contest was created in 2007. He also has won the first Sourcing Summit Europe Hackathon (October 2017), and the AirSource Sourcing Competition (May 2017).
Cyndy Davis

Cyndy Davis, SPHR is an Engagement Manager for IQ Talent Partners. Her former roles include sourcing, recruiting and leadership roles at Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, and TimeWarner. She is the 2018 SourceCon Grandmaster Challenge Champion and self-proclaimed sourcing junkie.
Randy Bailey

A Career Consumer Insights & Analytics expert, Randy has a decade of “deep dive” sourcing experience in both corporate and retained environments. He brings a relentless passion and genuine enthusiasm to talent sourcing, sharing best practices and partnering with others to make Talent Acquisition more efficient and effective. When he’s not connecting the dots to amazing talent, Randy can be found hiking through India or Africa, exploring a new restaurant or out in Boston Harbor on a sailboat.
Kerri McKinney

Kerri McKinney has a diverse background as both a corporate and agency recruiter and is currently working for Indeed.com as the Manager of Global Executive Recruiting. She got her start in the recruitment industry doing high-volume recruiting and has worked for companies such as Xerox, Liberty Mutual and PayPal recruiting for all different functions in various regions around the world. She is an AIRS Certified Internet Sourcer and holds the title of 2015 SourceCon Grandmaster. Kerri is especially passionate about engagement and improving the candidate experience.

Jim Schnyder is a two time SourceCon Grandmaster and the Founder/Principal Consultant of Recruiting Advisors, a strategic consulting firm providing training and technology best practices to the sourcing and recruiting industry. With over 20 years of recruiting experience, Jim is a frequent speaker on industry best practices and strategies. Jim has worked on both the agency and corporate side of the staffing business for such companies as Management Recruiters, Perot Systems, and PepsiCo. Jim is a native of St. Louis and a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia. He and his wife Yadira live in Frisco, TX with their children Jake and Isabella.

Katharine Robinson

Katharine Robinson has spent almost a decade honing her Internet sourcing skills. She is one of only a handful of people to hold the title of GrandMaster Sourcer – an accolade awarded by SourceCon for winning a series of their challenges. She has experience in Executive Search and In-house recruiting teams at companies like Capgemini and Pepsico.
As part of her commitment to growing Internet sourcing capability in the UK and beyond, Katharine set up the UK Sourcers Network since 2009, and she now hosts the #AirSourceShow podcast.
