Free Tool Fridays: Mon.ki Twitter Extension

Jul 11, 2014
This article is part of a series called Free Tool Fridays.

As I stated in a recent post, Mon.ki has a suite of Chrome addons that do different things. Two weeks ago, I told you about Mon.ki People Search. This week, I am going to tell you about Mon.ki Twitter Extension, a fast and easy way to search for and find tweets and people on Twitter without leaving the page you are on.

After installing the extension, you will see the Mon.ki icon at the top of the Chrome browser. Once you click the icon,  you get the screen to the right to come alive.

For this demonstration, I am going to search for people tweeting about “developer.”

Notice that once you type in the word developer and press enter it lists tweets with the word “developer.” You can also search for Twitter users or write a tweet without leaving the page you are on.  This is great for cross referencing candidates.

Until next week, enjoy the tool!
