New OFCCP Guidelines in Effect as of March 24th – Are You Prepared?

This year, The OFCCP, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, released an update to the United States Department of Labor website, that every recruiter and talent acquisition professional should take some time to explore. “The purpose of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal government.” – www.dol.gov/ofccp

It is important to continually have compliance top of mind, and to understand, demystify, and study these rules and regulations in order to assure a high level candidate, client, and organizational experience. With the release of the updates 2014 updated website, practitioners now have a resource readily available and accessible to combat the mysticism that is the unforgettable presence of OFCCP compliance.
